This sneaker stood out from the pack due its thorough use of patent leather. To top it off varsity mazie contrast stitching is used throughout the shoe. This vibrant colour is also used on the quilted sockliner, a then newly introduced feature on premium AF1's. Rounding out the clean design are varisty red nubuck side panels, a sublte touch which breaks up the patent leather upper. Nike also used the tongue tag as an opportunity to pay homage to the hardwood by marking it up with the old school "Force" logo from 1982.
